PSV Bus Mechanic

Our client is a well-established coach operator based in the Southside Glasgow, operating a modern fleet of vehicles. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced PSV Bus Mechanic to join their busy workshop team.
�� The Role
As an PSV Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing clients fleet of coaches to the highest safety and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical)
Brake, suspension, and transmission repairs
MOT preparation and compliance work
Completing job cards and service documentation
Ensuring vehicles meet DVSA safety standards
✅ Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven experience working on HGVs, buses, or coaches
Strong diagnostic skills
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
PSV desirable but not essential
IRTEC accreditation advantageous
