Responsibilities
Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and service procedures according to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Use specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and perform repairs efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles.
Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure timely and quality completions of jobs.
Advise customers on vehicle maintenance, repair options, and safety concerns.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, preferably at Level 3 or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems specific to commercial trucks and heavy vehicles.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient with modern diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills to explain technical details to customers and team members.
Relevant certifications or licenses related to commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
Hours Per Week: 37.50
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Annum: £39276 to 42771
