The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has been created to contribute significantly to the development and delivery of the Scottish Prevention Hub. We are recruiting for the new role of Strategic Engagement Lead, based at Edinburgh Futures Institute. In the role, you will lead on stakeholder engagement and relationship management, supporting collaboration across academic, public, private and third-sector partners to advance Scotland’s prevention agenda.

The role will support the work of the Scottish Prevention Hub in achieving the ambition and delivery of its six workstreams.The role requires confidence, diplomacy and credibility across diverse sectors, and the ability to facilitate, present and influence in multi-disciplinary environments.

This post is part-time 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week) for a fixed-term of 22 months. The University of Edinburgh operates a hybrid working policy based on business need. UK travel, international travel and evening working will be involved in the post.
