The Role & Responsibilities:
Working within the Property Assets team and reporting to the Principal Compliance Officer, this role supports the council in ensuring housing and corporate buildings meet statutory health and safety requirements and internal policies.
The postholder will help deliver 100% compliance by maintaining accurate service records, asset registers and compliance trackers, and ensuring data management systems are kept up to date. The role also involves producing reports to support monthly performance figures, KPI monitoring and operational oversight.
Financial administration is a key part of the role, including raising purchase orders and maintaining budget forecasts across multiple service areas.
This role suits someone who is organised, detail‑focused and able to work proactively within a busy team, with a strong commitment to delivering safe, compliant property services.

Who We Are Looking For
Maths and English Grade 4/ GCSE or Equivalent (Essential)
Experience of administrating contracts
Finance experience (Desirable)
An understanding of compliance, statutory landlord obligations and associated legislation (Desirable)
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced administration role preferably within an asset management or compliance environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset management/finance systems (Essential)
High attention to detail and accuracy with a methodical thorough work approach
This role requires current full driving license effective in the UK and use of a motor vehicle for business use, or the ability to get to sites in a timely manner equivalent to motor travel in your own car.
