This role has a strong classroom base within our mixed Year 3/4 class, alongside opportunities to deliver planned lessons across the primary phase from Reception to Year 6 as part of our collaborative teaching support team.

work with individuals and small groups to support progress
contribute positively to the wider life of the school
This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone confident working with children across the primary age range who enjoys being part of a supportive staff team.
Development opportunities
We welcome applications from candidates who already hold HLTA status, as well as experienced teaching assistants who would like to work towards HLTA status through apprenticeship training while working in the role.
This role may also be particularly suitable for someone considering a future career in teaching. Previous members of staff at South Wonston Primary School have successfully been supported to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while working within our team.
