Hours: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year)

We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team at St Agnes’. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to children’s learning and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting
• Support pupils individually and in small groups to help them engage and succeed
• Provide sensitive support for pupils’ emotional, sensory and learning needs
• Working closely with the Class Teacher, SENDCO and other professionals
• Be flexible, reflective and responsive to pupils’ needs
• Bring energy, warmth and enthusiasm to the role
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with pupils and adults
• Support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of our school
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and those without additional needs
• Experience of teaching / supporting individuals and small groups
• Experience contributing towards planning learning for individuals and small groups
• The ability to use skills, expertise and experience to support pupil learning
• A caring, patient and positive approach that enables all children to achieve their very best
