Summary
The Salaried GP will play an integral role in ensuring and integrated and focused healthcare provision relevant to the differing needs of the patient population. The Salaried GP will be part a multi-disciplinary team providing a full range of general medical services to patient groups Main Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Clinical Responsibilities In accordance with Practice timetable, as agreed, the post holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties F2F, telephone consults and queries along with paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner. Offer and carry out consultations and where appropriate, physical examinations for the purposes of identifying and reducing the risk of illness, disease or injury. To arrange referrals of patients, as appropriate for the provision of any other services as appropriate. To deliver any enhanced services that the practice has contracted to deliver. To deliver a service to patients within our triage system, using our E-Consult platform. Speciality of women's health is desirable. Other Duties Attend Clinical Huddles and meetings within the practice setting where appropriate. Awareness of and compliance with all relevant Practice Policies, eg, Prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and Safety etc.
