Summary
ROLE: Shift Electrical Engineer SHIFT : Day shift - 0600 - 1800, Night Shift 18:00-0600 Week 1 - 4 nights, 3 off Week 2 - 3 days 1 off 3 nights Week 3 - 3 off, 4 days Week 4 - 7 offLOCATION: Ellesmere Port

Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete associated reports.
-Conduct fault‑finding, planned maintenance and reactive repairs for electrical plant.
-Support team members as directed by the Supervisor or Contract Manager.
-Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual time scales.
-Complete electrical installations and system upgrades on site.
-Supervise visiting sub‑contractors, ensuring safe and high‑quality work.
-Adopt a flexible approach to support other properties within the portfolio.
-Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
-Work safely and diligently, following company policies and procedures.
-Participate fully in training, appraisals and development activities.
-Undertake training in mechanical maintenance and assist the mechanical team when required.
Required Qualifications:
-Recognised electrical qualification, apprenticeship, or time‑served experience.
-IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly advantageous but not essential).
-Experience in HV switching (highly advantageous but not essential).
-Experience working with power supplies, lighting, meters, circuit boards and pumps.
-Ability to anticipate, diagnose and repair faults.
-Capable of completing essential paperwork accurately and promptly.
