Summary

What you'll be doing

Are you a proactive project manager who enjoys delivering complex projects in a unique environment? Join our PMST Projects team and help maintain and enhance the historic Parliamentary Estate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Westminster.

You'll lead a range of building services projects from concept through design, procurement, construction and handover. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, consultants and contractors, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards. This is a great opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a complex estate, contributing to the ongoing operation and improvement of Parliament while helping preserve its historic significance.

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

What we're looking for:

  • A relevant qualification in a construction-related discipline (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent) or significant equivalent experience in building services or construction project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, refurbishment or conservation projects, including experience of CDM regulations and construction contracts.
  • Experience managing procurement processes and overseeing consultants and contractors to deliver projects to time, cost and quality standards.
  • Confidence in managing budgets, including monitoring costs and handling change control.
