Summary
Volunteer Coordinator. 10 hours per week.
Office based with flexible attendance at events,training and functions.
Volunteering in Health is looking for a friendly,organised and proactive Volunteer Coordinator to join our team.
This is a part-time, office based, role for 10 hours per week, with flexibility needed to attend events, support training, and represent the organisation at community functions.
You will pay a key role in supporting our volunteers, helping with recruitment, induction, record-keeping,communication, and training coordination. Working as part of a team, you will help ensure volunteers feel valued, supported, and matched to the right opportunities.
We are looking for someone who is:
Well organised and reliable.
Enjoys working with people.
Communicates clearly and confidently.
Works well as part of a team.
Can be flexible when needed.
Has good administrative and IT skills.
Main duties include:
Recruiting and welcoming volunteers.
Supporting volunteer induction and training.
Keeping records up to date.
Supporting and encouraging volunteers.
Attending events and community activities when required.
Helping the team deliver a positive volunteering experience.
Previous experience in volunteering, coordination, administration, or community work would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and commitment to supporting others are just as important.
