Summary
If you’re a caring person with a can-do attitude, already have experience supporting older people, including those with dementia, have the confidence to lead a care team and act as advocate for the safety and dignity of residents and have a good understanding of care planning this could be the job for you.
Ideally you will hold an SVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this.

Your role:
• You will be a key member of the care team and residents will be at the heart of everything you do.
• You will ensure that residents receive high quality care in a safe, dignified way. You will lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team to deliver the very best standards of care.
• You will have the opportunity to liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents get the medical care they need. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you will be able to use your initiative and talent to contribute to the success of the home.
• You will be a keyworker for Residents and ensure all paperwork is current and correct.
You will work 36/48 hours per week, working 12 hour shifts.
Registration with SSSC is required on commencement of employment.
