Summary
Team Leader – Goods in/Warehouse
Location: Alton
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours: 40Hours Per Week – Including Weekends
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Goods In/Warehouse Team Leader to join our fast paced, customer focused Centre. This is a hands on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our stock moving efficiently and ensuring our teams have what they need to deliver a great customer experience.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, approachable, and confident working with people. You’ll bring a positive “can do” attitude, strong attention to detail, and solid experience in both retail and warehouse environments. As the role involves manual handling, you should also be physically fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting.

Key Duties
• Receiving and unloading deliveries
• Accurately receipting stock
• Operating forklifts and pallet trucks
• Working with departments to maintain organised storage areas
• Supporting the physical movement of stock from Goods In to the warehouse
• Packing, putting away, and replenishing stock
• Matching and filing delivery notes using EPOS and Paperless systems
• Managing returns and wastage
• Assisting with merchandising and stock replenishment
• Ensuring all stock movements are recorded accurately
• Monitoring storage conditions and stock levels
Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Methodical approach and ability to work at pace
• Able to follow procedures confidently
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using EPOS systems
• Good computer and administration skills
• Manual handling experience
• Able to prioritise workload effectively
• Flexible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Confident with alphabetical and numerical tasks
• Flexible with working hours and days
