Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
About the Role:
The Charter Schools Educational Trust is driven by a clear mission: to create better futures for all our children and young people. We work to transform the life chances of thousands of pupils across London and beyond, particularly those whose lives are affected by social or educational disadvantage.
London South Teaching School Hub was designated by the Department for Education as the Teaching School Hub for Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark launched in September 2021. Our mission is to support schools to recruit, develop and retain excellent teachers and school leaders. We work to enable these teachers to deliver exceptional outcomes for all pupils, especially the most disadvantaged.
We are now seeking a dedicated Co-ordinator to join The London South Teaching School Hub in September 2026. The LSTSH Co-ordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the London South Teaching School Hub and London South Learning Partnership, working under the guidance of senior staff to ensure the seamless delivery of our programmes.
What skills and experience we're looking for:
We are looking for a candidate with strong administrative skills and excellent IT capability. The role involves regular email communication, extensive work across social media platforms, and confident use of spreadsheets for accurate record‑keeping. This position may be particularly well‑suited to a recent graduate seeking to develop and build upon their existing administrative experience.
This is a varied role involving management of the Hub’s digital presence across websites and social media, as well as leading on event coordination, logistics, and occasional evening representation at key functions. Core responsibilities include providing high‑quality clerical support for Governance and Strategic Partnership Board meetings, assisting with DfE grant reporting, and handling routine financial administration. The Co‑ordinator will work proactively with the Hub team and partner organisations to ensure professional, effective communication with stakeholders across the region.
You will need the ability to manage a varied workload, ensuring deadlines are met while remaining flexible in responding to ad‑hoc requests and maintain strict confidentiality at all times, particularly when handling personal records and sensitive information.
What the school offers its staff
• The chance to work in a highly successful and positive Trust which achieves excellent results
• The opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues
• A professionally stimulating and collaborative working environment in a Trust that prioritises staff well-being, support and professional development.
Further details about the role
• This role is based on-site at Charles Dickens Primary School, SE1 1AF.
• Some travel will be required to schools and educational settings across the Hub area, as well as to meetings held at regional locations.
