Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school. You’ll lead lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
Maintain a calm, structured, inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development across the school day
Adapt quickly to new settings following school routines and individual support plans
Assess progress and provide feedback, collaborating with colleagues to support learning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in UK schools
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexible, adaptable, and confident working across year groups/subjects
Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
