Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher to join our thriving and successful music department. We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile teacher who is eager to contribute to all areas of the department, embraces the breadth and diversity of music, and brings their own areas of expertise to enrich our provision.
Students benefit from a wide range of musical opportunities, including several choirs and instrumental ensembles. The successful candidate will play an active role in these groups, as well as supporting the department’s extensive programme of concerts and events throughout the academic year.
Experience of teaching Music to A Level is desirable but not essential, and applicants should be confident in teaching basic keyboard skills. The ability to teach another subject would also be welcome and mean we may be able to offer a larger contract for the right applicant. Please indicate your FTE preference on your application form.
This post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced teacher.
