Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for two Key Stage One Teachers to join our team! These one-year contracts are ideal for ECT’s looking to complete part of their induction, or for more experienced teachers looking for a new opportunity.

You will be placed in a Year 1 or 2 class depending on experience.

Our KS1 department currently consists of four Year 1 teachers and four Year 2 teachers, offering a supportive and collaborative team where ideas and best practice are regularly shared.

KS1 is an exciting key stage to be part of, pupils enjoy learning about topics such as Florence Nightingale, Scarborough and its coast, religious festivals, experimenting with growing plants, the art of Van Gogh, and performing simple rhythmic patterns in music – to name a few! You will have:

• QTS
• Experience of teaching in primary schools
• Excellent classroom practitioner skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, relating well to colleagues, pupils and parents
• High expectations of all pupils
• Organisational and planning skills
