YSGOL CYNEFIN Haedteacher: Mr Jamyn Beesley 5 X PERMANENT FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS POST NUMBER - ED50222975 GRADE 4 SCP 6 - 11 (£25,989 - £28,142 FTE) PRO RATA + ALN ALLOWANCE 34 hours per week, Term Time, 39 weeks per year To Commence ASAP Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). The Governing Body of Ysgol Cynefin is seeking to appoint five caring, dynamic, and hardworking Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. Ysgol Cynefin is a successful special school for pupils aged 7–11, with a primary need of Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD). We are at an exciting stage of development, having recently moved to two purpose-built sites in Llanrumney (East) and Fairwater (West). The location of these posts is to be confirmed. ________________________________________ The successful candidates will: • Have experience of working with pupils who display distressed behaviours and/or have Additional Learning Needs (ALN). • Be compassionate, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a team to maximise pupil potential. • Demonstrate strong communication skills to work in partnership with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies. • Be flexible and collaborative in their approach. • Have high expectations of pupil achievement and a commitment to raising standards. ________________________________________ These are challenging yet highly rewarding roles.
