At Moat, our purpose is to provide safe and affordable homes that make a real and lasting difference by supporting wellbeing, opening opportunities and helping our colleagues, customers and communities to thrive. Technology and data play a critical role in how we achieve this. We are looking for an exceptional Director of Data & Technology to lead us through the next stage of our digital and data transformation. This is a strategic leadership role with significant influence across the organisation, responsible for shaping how technology, data and innovation improve the lives of our customers and empower our colleagues to deliver outstanding service.

You will drive a modern, secure and customer-focused technology environment that enables us to become a truly data-driven organisation, improving customer outcomes through smarter insight, digital services and automation.

Working closely with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team and Board, you will define and deliver a forward-thinking digital strategy that places customers, data and innovation at its heart. You will bring strong strategic and technical leadership, with the ability to oversee complex technology programmes, systems and infrastructure that support organisational performance and customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technology leader or digital transformation specialist who wants to use technology and data to create meaningful social impact. You will have experience operating at senior leadership level, leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams, managing significant technology resources and budgets, and building effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

As our Director of Data & Technology, you will lead Moat’s digital and technology strategy, ensuring our systems, infrastructure and data capabilities support exceptional customer service, modern ways of working and organisational efficiency.

You will champion a culture where technology and data are used to anticipate customer needs, reduce effort, and improve service outcomes, while ensuring the highest standards of security, governance and resilience.
