Summary

This is a community Clinical Psychology post covering the Triage (0.4) and Emotional & Behavioural 1 (0.6) teams withinTower Hamlets CAMHS.

The post holder will join a supportive and vibrant culturally diverse service and contribute to the positive working environment of our multi-disciplinary teams. There is a large group of Clinical Psychologists working across all aspects of CAMHS.

The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit. ELFT has a strong ethos of Quality Improvement and we are keen to continually develop our service.

We strive to provide an accessible, high-quality mental health service for young people in Tower Hamlets which is sensitive to their cultural, ethnic, religious, contextual, family and developmental needs.

Within our Triage team, you will assess new referrals using the i-THRIVE framework, gathering any additional information required to support decision-making, risk assessment, and safety planning for young people and their parents/carers. You will also provide advice, signposting, and/or allocate cases to appropriate CAMHS pathways.

Within EB1, you will offer flexible, evidence-based episodes of care including a range of assessment and treatment options such as individual, parenting, family and group based interventions, as well as specialist CAMHS advice/consultation and liaison with other agencies.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
