We are looking for a passionate and resilient Behaviour & Families Champion to join our team. It’s a chance to play a pivotal role in transforming the educational journeys and life outcomes of vulnerable students. CP Riverside School is an Alternative Provision Free School and a proud member of the East Midlands Education Trust. CP Riverside School is ‘Good’ school (Ofsted, 2022) “There is a strong, shared ambition to provide ‘a mainstream curriculum via an alternative approach’.” (Ofsted, 2022) In this highly impactful role, you will support improvements in student behaviour and family engagement, working at the heart of the school community to support students who need it most. You’ll combine compassion with high expectations, helping students develop emotional regulation, positive behaviours, and the confidence to succeed. You will:Provide 1:1 mentoring and pastoral support to a designated group of studentsLead and implement therapeutic behaviour interventionsWork closely with families to remove barriers to education and strengthen relationshipsCollaborate with staff and external agencies to ensure a joined-up, multi-agency approachTrack and evaluate the impact of interventions to drive meaningful progressSupport students in developing the personal and social skills needed for lifelong success This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with both students and families.
