MSK Physiotherapist Job Overview (Scotland)
We are recruiting for a motivated MSK Physiotherapist (HCPC registered) to join a leading multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal (MSK) Occupational Health team working across client sites in Govan and Scotstoun, Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist or newly qualified Physiotherapist looking to specialise in MSK and Occupational Health through a structured Graduate Training Programme.

You will play a key role in reducing workplace illness and injury, supporting rehabilitation, and improving employee function and wellbeing within a fast-paced industrial environment.

A full UK driving licence is preferred due to travel between client sites.

Key Responsibilities – MSK Physiotherapist Role

Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions
Deliver effective MSK rehabilitation for work-related and non-work-related injuries
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical assessment and treatment records
Produce reports detailing fitness for work and workplace adjustments
Classify musculoskeletal conditions and assess work-relatedness
Conduct DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and provide ergonomic advice
Identify workplace hazards and assess MSK risk factors (training provided)
Contribute to or deliver health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
Communicate effectively with Occupational Health teams and stakeholders
Collect and analyse clinical data to support reporting and service delivery
Candidate Requirements – MSK Physiotherapist
To be successful in this MSK Physiotherapist role, you will need:

Essential Requirements:
Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc)
HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
Experience in MSK physiotherapy (minimum 2 years preferred) OR strong interest as a newly qualified clinician
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational and time management skills
IT literate and comfortable using clinical systems
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of workplace ergonomics
Experience with fitness for work assessments
Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
Membership of ACPOHE (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics)

Working Pattern – Physiotherapist Job Scotland
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 12:30
On-site role across Govan and Scotstoun client locations
Travel between sites required

Salary – MSK Physiotherapist Role
£38,000 – £42,000 (experienced clinicians)
From £32,000 (newly qualified Graduate Training Programme)
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
