A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK This is a part time role working 27 hours per week on a two weekly rolling rota, working 6 hour shifts to include alternative weekends The shift pattern is as follows: Week 1 Monday 2pm to 8pm Wednesday 8am to 2pm Thursday 2pm to 8pm Friday 2pm to 8pm Week 2 Monday 2pm to 8pm Thursday 8am to 2pm Friday 8am to 2pm Saturday 8am to 2pm Sunday 2pm to 8pm Previous experience of working in care home is required for this role A day in the life of a Care Assistant Companionship - Providingsupport, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower andsupporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks. Mobility -Supporting the client to live asindependently as possible with their mobility. Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
