About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 20-year-old woman to live her life independently and enjoy the activities she loves.

She experiences social anxiety, so she would benefit from someone who is encouraging, confident, and supportive, helping her build confidence while getting out and about. Despite being shy at times, she is also a chatty, kind, and thoughtful person who enjoys good company.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you will become a trusted companion, helping someone gain confidence and enjoy new experiences. If you are encouraging, supportive, and enjoy helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Interests and Activities

She has a range of interests including:

Photography, particularly trips to the moors or Saltburn to take photos
Video games and collecting physical media
Going out for coffee, lunch, and shopping trips
Part of the role will involve accompanying her on these outings and helping her feel confident and comfortable in different environments.

Working Hours

18 hours per week
Usually Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings
Some flexibility may be required as times can occasionally change
Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting her to take part in activities she enjoys
Encouraging confidence and independence
Being a positive, fun, and reassuring companion
Accompanying her to appointments or job interviews
Providing gentle support with getting up and starting the day
