Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Levenshulme. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.
You will support pupils across the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to help create a positive and engaging learning environment. The role may involve providing 1:1 support or assisting small groups, including pupils with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom
- Provide 1:1 or small group support where required
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and activities
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
