Summary
The postholder will be expected to work closely with the team of existing Radiologists to support the continuing development of imaging within Warrington and Halton Hospitals as a whole. The successful applicant will be required to be proficient in all aspects of diagnostic Radiology including reporting of Plain Film, Ultrasound, CT and MRI, as well as interventional skills in Ultrasound guided intervention. Support for General Radiology is required to support the on-call and acute work. The postholder will be part of a team of nineteenRadiologists. The Trust benefits from enthusiastic Chest and Head and Neck teams with whom the Radiology department enjoys excellent working relationships. The postholder will be expected to take part in the general on-call rota (1:17) to cover the Warrington Acute site and assist with the provision of weekend radiological support for the Imaging service. There is scope for supporting development of the other imaging services/pathways as well as performing various non-vascular intervention procedures including Ultrasound or CT guided biopsies and drainages.
