Summary

A highly commercial role responsible for managing and growing key European customers while actively identifying and winning new business. Accountable for delivering the ‘Total Coffee Solution’ across all revenue streams, combining strategic account management with a strong hunter mindset to drive sustainable growth.

Manage Existing Key European Customers

- Own and develop strategic relationships with key customers, driving long-term growth across coffee, machines and service.

- Deliver volume, revenue and profit targets through effective account management and execution.

- Build and deliver Account Plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to customer and business objectives.

- Monitor and manage customer performance (P&L, scorecards, dashboards), identifying risks and unlocking opportunities.

- Expand within existing customers by identifying new sites, formats, products and service opportunities.

- Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technical) to deliver integrated solutions.

- Ensure consistent execution across multi-site and multi-market (European) customers.

- Maintain strong awareness of customer strategy, category trends and competitor activity.

New Business Development

- Proactively identify, target and win new business opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.

- Build, manage and continuously develop a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.

- Actively prospect, network and open doors with new customers across relevant channels and markets.

- Lead tenders, pitches and commercial negotiations, taking ownership for conversion.

- Develop compelling, insight-led commercial proposals leveraging category, customer and market data.

- Partner with internal stakeholders and senior teams to secure multi-market or European opportunities.

- Deliver incremental revenue and profit growth through successful acquisition of new customers.

The Person

- Proven track record in national account management and new business acquisition.

- Strong hunter mentality, with clear examples of winning and converting new opportunities.

- Commercially astute with experience managing P&L, pricing and margin.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at pace.

- Confident leading negotiations, pitches and senior customer engagement.

- Strong analytical capability; able to leverage data and insight to drive decisions.

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- Resilient, proactive and results-driven with a “can do” mindset.

- Experience in multi-site or European environments advantageous.

- Ability to travel 30% of the time across the UK and Europe.

- Commutable to a major UK airport.
