Residential Children’s Worker – Agency | Cardiff
Pay: £15–£17 per hour
Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people? We are looking for an experienced Residential Children’s Worker to join our agency team in Cardiff.
Role Overview:
You will provide care, guidance, and support to children and young people who are at risk, helping them develop positive behaviours and emotional resilience. This is a hands-on role within a residential setting, where your dedication and experience will make a real difference.
Requirements:
At least 6 months proven UK experience working with at-risk children and young people
Enhanced DBS check
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
Ability to deliver individualised care plans and manage challenging behaviours
Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (desirable)
