Summary

Clinical Administration (Summarising) Review and summarise patient medical records onto the clinical system Accurately code relevant clinical information in line with practice protocols Ensure patient records are complete, accurate, and up to date Process incoming clinical correspondence where appropriate Reception Duties Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner Answer incoming telephone calls, dealing with enquiries efficiently Book, amend, and cancel appointments in line with practice procedures Signpost patients to appropriate services where necessary General Administration Scan, file, and manage documentation in line with practice procedures Maintain accurate records and data entry on clinical systems Support the practice team with general administrative tasks Handle incoming and outgoing post Confidentiality & Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times Comply with Data Protection, GDPR, and practice policies Work in accordance with NHS guidelines and practice procedures Team Working Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment Participate in training and development as required Other Duties Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as requested by the Practice Manager
