Summary

About the National Care Forum
The National Care Forum (NCF) is the leading membership organisation and the foremost voice for not-for-profit social care and support providers in England. For over 25 years, we have championed quality, person-centred care — supporting our members to deliver better outcomes for the people they serve.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding part-time role sitting at the heart of NCF's Membership team. As our Membership Support Assistant, you will be supporting our Membership Lead to ensure we provide a timely, effective and responsive service to our members — the not-for-profit care providers who look to NCF for support, connection, and a strong collective voice.

Day to day, you will work with the Membership Lead and wider NCF team to keep our membership running smoothly: maintaining accurate records, supporting members through every stage of their journey with us, and helping to coordinate engagement activity including events and webinars. You will also play an important role in keeping our data clean and usable, ensuring that the Membership Lead and wider team have the information they need to make good decisions.

This is a role for someone who takes real pride in doing the administrative work well in order to guarantee a great service — someone who understands that behind every accurate record and timely response is a member organisation that feels valued and supported. You will be joining a small, close-knit team where your contribution is visible and genuinely matters.

Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
Serve as a first point of contact for member enquiries, ensuring queries are handled warmly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Provide administrative support to the Membership Lead across the full membership lifecycle, including applications, onboarding, annual renewals, and offboarding, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and with a positive experience for members throughout.
Maintain and moderate our member query forum, where members can pose questions and share knowledge with one another, keeping it active, accurate, and well-organised.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date member records across our systems, ensuring data is complete and usable for operational and reporting purposes.
Produce data outputs including contact lists, membership summaries, and reports to support the team's work.
Support Membership Lead with activities to retain, engage and recruit NCF members.
Provide administrative support to the delivery of membership events, webinars, and engagement sessions, including accurate recording of attendance and outputs.
Support the Membership Lead with ad hoc membership tasks and projects.
Support the Membership Lead with support for the co-ordination of information gathering.
Contribute to the effective running of NCF through being a valuable and flexible team member.
