Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Northamptonshire to assist with the appointment of an Administration Assistant, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.13 - £17.90 per hour

Summary:

The Administration Assistant role involves a combination of field-based survey work and administrative support. The primary responsibility will be conducting face-to-face bus surveys, alongside supporting ad hoc administrative tasks such as data entry and processing information using internal systems. Flexibility is essential, as working hours will vary depending on survey schedules.

Responsibilities:

Conduct face-to-face bus surveys with the general public in Kettering
Accurately collect and record survey data
Build rapport and trust quickly with members of the public
Carry out data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
Work through datasets using Excel, Word, and specialist software
Convert bus stop codes and update outstanding records
Essentials:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Comfortable with face-to-face public interaction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
