Summary
Duties and Responsibilities: Review undiagnosed 100 000 Genomes Project patients with skeletal dysplasia and liaise with the Musculoskeletal Genomics England Interpretation partnership (MSK GECIP) to close open cases Co-ordinate and lead on research projects as sub-investigator Recruit patients Collect data and help maintain trial documentation Conducting baseline assessment and follow up of patients as per the trial protocol Involved with clinical care of patients who consent to take part in the trials. Ensure governance procedures are followed Observe and assist in the multidisciplinary skeletal dysplasia and achondroplasia clinics Data analysis, presentation and drafting of manuscripts Participate in clinical activities with object of ensuring high standard of patient care Work closely with the Principal Investigator(s) to be responsible for ensuring that the research components of the project are carried out in a timely and effective way Liaise closely with colleagues in the research area, including those working on their own and other projects Review relevant literature and reporting on work by others in related areas Ensure appropriate ethical clearance is obtained for all research activity and any study amendments Write progress reports Present findings to different audiences and attend relevant conferences *** Please be advised that this vacancy may close early should we receive sufficient number of applications ***
