Job Description
The NHS Trust is seeking a committed and reliable Locum Senior House Officer (ST1–ST2 level) to join its clinical team. The post holder will work under the supervision of senior clinicians to deliver safe, effective, and high quality patient care across designated departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day to day clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients.
• Participate in ward rounds, clerking, admissions, and discharge planning.
• Support emergency and acute care pathways as required by the department.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in on call rotas (where applicable).
• Escalate concerns appropriately to senior medical staff.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of NHS clinical experience at SHO level.
• Valid ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification.
• Full Right to Work in the UK (e.g., UK passport, BRP, Skilled Worker Visa).
• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
