Our client is a small, well-supported children's residential home providing specialist care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Rated Good by Ofsted and backed by a strong support network, this is a home where the focus is firmly on achieving the very best outcomes for every child in their care.
They are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead this home, inspire their team, and continue delivering the high standards of care their young people deserve.

What Our Client Is Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a children's residential environment at a senior level — essential
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce — essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management) — achieved or actively working towards
- Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989, Children's Home Regulations, and safeguarding procedures
- Experience managing budgets within a residential setting
- Full, clean driving licence — essential
- An unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people
Key Responsibilities
- Taking overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and day-to-day running of the home
- Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Home Regulations, and The Children Act 1989
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a committed staff team around a shared vision for the children
- Managing the home's budget and financial performance effectively
- Acting as the Registered Manager with Ofsted, managing inspections and regulatory requirements
- Safeguarding all young people in the home in line with current legislation and best practice
- Carrying out on-call duties and working flexibly to meet the needs of the home
- Building positive relationships with local authorities, families, and multi-agency professionals
