Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated physiotherapist with excellent communication and organisational skills to join ourPaediatric MSK Physiotherapy Team, which is part of the wider all age MSK team,

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in paediatric physiotherapy and proven clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of trauma and orthopaedic conditions. You will work within a dedicated team providing expert physiotherapy interventions and guidance to children and young people aged 0–16 years.

Our service also supports families, carers, and other professionals, ensuring seamless care and smooth transitions into adult services when required.

• Able to manage caseloads efficiently with excellent time management
• Able to move independently between clinics, as services are delivered from community clinic bases across Bolton.
• Committed to service development and continuous improvement.

• Assessment and treatment of a broad range of specialist MSK conditions within the outpatient setting, including group sessions.
• Advanced clinical reasoning skills and a problem solving approach to patient care.
• Managing a caseload of patients, including children and young people with complex presentations.
• Working effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Dealing with complex, sensitive and emotive situations.
• Communicating effectively with children and young people, their families/carers and the MDT.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence based practice.
• Supervision and support of physiotherapy learners, therapy assistants and Band 5 physiotherapists.
• Deputising on behalf of Band 7 colleagues.
• Contributing to service improvement.
• Participation in the team in-service training programme.
• Knowledge of quality governance and the wider healthcare agenda.
• Adherence to relevant local and national policies/guidance.
