Summary
Wolfson College seeks an enthusiastic Gardener to join our small experienced and dedicated team who maintain the College’s gardens, grounds and sports field.
Wolfson College is situated within thirteen acres of gardens. The College grounds also boast a formal garden, bog garden, containing a water cascade feature fed by the adjacent River Cherwell, a woodland walk and a winter garden, all linked by sweeping informal lawns.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and passionate gardener, who has a good understanding of plants and horticultural techniques. They should have a positive and friendly attitude and should work well within a small team.
The starting salary is £28,293 per annum for 39.5-hours per week. This includes a basic salary of £26,563 per annum and the Oxford Weighting of £1,730 per annum.
The College offers an attractive pension scheme, free lunches within allowance while on duty, free parking and a pleasant working environment.
