Description
Everest Recruitment and Services Ltd is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Somerset on a temporary basis pending permanent recruitment.
This role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) within a classroom environment. You will work closely with the class teacher to assist with learning activities, provide 1:1 or small group support, and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 12:30, for approximately 3–4 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and will be subject to safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
