We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager and support all aspects of Facilities Management service provision.
The role sits within a team delivering specific outcomes for customers and stakeholders, with individual responsibility for the delivery of services and support across day-to-day operations and projects.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused Facilities Management service.
Service quality will be a core deliverable and will be visible to customers and stakeholders, requiring a proactive, organised and service-driven approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as front of house, welcoming visitors and supporting them appropriately
Ensuring security procedures are followed at all times
Delivering support services including porterage, meeting room management and management of the FM mailbox
Supporting inductions for new starters, including health & safety and environmental inductions
Logging, facilitating and overseeing reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
Supporting compliance with environmental and HSEQ standards
Assisting with audits, including security audits
Providing general administrative support to the Facilities Management team
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience working with customers and delivering soft services
Ability to work confidently with Microsoft Office packages
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with different levels of management
Ideally some experience completing compliance checks and reports (training can be provided)
A positive attitude with a strong can-do mindset
IOSH qualification desirable, although training can be provided
