We are recruiting a Metal Picker for our Wolverhampton-based client, a well-established and reputable metals recycling company specialising in non-ferrous metal recovery.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking long-term, stable employment with clear progression. Following a successful trial period, you will have the chance to secure a permanent position, develop new skills, and benefit from pay increases.
Key Responsibilities- Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor belt
- Identifying and removing non-ferrous metals
- Reporting any quality or product issues
- Supporting routine maintenance and daily housekeeping of the plant
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are consistently followed
- Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
- Hours: 05:30am - 17:30pm
- Pay Rate: £12.80
- Overtime: Available and paid at an enhanced rate
- Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
