Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for improving stroke care through research to join our team. Working alongside an established stroke research nurse and and a forward thinking clinical team you will bring more research opportunities to patients at Dorset County Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for the care of stroke research participants and trial data management at Dorset County Hospital. This will require the deployment of administrative, analytical and interpersonal skills alongside an aptitude for securing multi-departmental and professional support for stroke clinical trials through effective communication at all levels.
• To provide a high-quality specialist clinical research service to stroke patients as part of the multi-professional and disciplinary team across DCH sites.
• Display an in-depth understanding and become competent in screening, recruiting, consenting and caring for stroke participants across a range of clinical trials.
• To develop expertise in research data collection from participants.
• Display efficiency at time and project management.
• The post holder will be required to work independently within occupational, national and organisational guidelines.
