Summary
A leading engineering company is looking for an experienced CNC Machining Centre Operator to join its growing team in Fife. You will be working both day and night shifts, on a rotating basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business working on complex, high-value oil & gas components in a modern machining environment, with excellent earning potential and overtime available.

What you’ll be doing as CNC Machining Centre Operator
You will take responsibility for operating CNC machining centres, producing high-precision components whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
• Operating CNC machining centres using Mazak or Okuma controls
• Understanding and working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Reading, understanding, and adjusting CNC programs
• Writing basic programs or macros for standard features
• Machine complex oil & gas components
• Working with materials including Inconel, Duplex, and Carbon Steels
• Applying correct cutting parameters
• Carrying out 100% inspection of your own work
What we’re looking for in a CNC Machining Centre Operator
• Extensive experience in a CNC machining environment
• Experience with Mazak or Okuma controls
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Experience working on high-value components
• Knowledge of Inconel, Duplex, and Carbon steels
• Strong attention to detail
Working hours
• Dayshift: Mon–Thu 07:00 – 17:15 (39 hours)
• Nightshift: Mon–Thu 20:30 – 07:00 with 06:00 finish on Fridays
