Summary
We are currently recruiting for multiple Factory Operatives on behalf of our growing client in the WELSHPOOL area. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and interest in timber manufacturing
Working Hours:
7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Includes 2 x 30-minute daily breaks
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture timber frame panels, floor cassettes, and roof cassettes to specification
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules
- Measure, cut, and assemble timber components accurately
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and finished products when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in timber frame manufacturing or a similar construction/production environment is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment
- All applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport due to the site location (no public transport routes available)
