played a central role in the UK media ecosystem, delivering fast, accurate and impartial content to newsrooms, businesses, and
institutions across the UK and internationally.

Our purpose is to build trust in news, media, and content. Today, we are a diversified media, data and services group, bringing
together a portfolio of businesses that includes breaking news, data, imagery, video streaming, social media services, and
specialist content solutions.

As the media landscape continues to evolve, we are investing in new products and services that connect expertise with real-time
news and customer needs.

About the role

This is a brand-new role and an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow PA Media Group’s Expert Hub service.

As Expert Hub Content Editor, you will play a central role in building the value of the service; connecting trusted expert voices
with the news agenda, strengthening our expert network, and driving engagement with customers.

Working closely with the Expert Hub Manager, you will combine editorial judgement, data insight and proactive outreach to ensure
the service delivers timely, relevant and high-quality expert content.

This is a hands-on role with real scope to influence how the product evolves, how we engage experts, and how we create value for
clients.

What you’ll do

* Manage and develop the Expert Hub database, ensuring it is accurate, relevant and continuously growing
* Identify opportunities from the news agenda and proactively connect experts to breaking stories
* Commission and curate expert insight, adding value to the PA news wire and customer outputs
* Vet and verify expert submissions, maintaining high editorial and credibility standards
* Build strong relationships with experts, supporting retention and engagement
* Use data and analytics to track performance, identify trends and inform improvements
* Support the ongoing development and growth of the Expert Hub service

About you

You bring a proactive approach to your work, with the ability to manage your own workload, respond quickly to the news agenda, and
produce accurate, high-quality content under pressure. You’re confident working across systems and data, and keen to develop your
skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will bring:

* NCTJ (or equivalent) qualification and experience working in a newsroom, ideally within an agency
* Strong self-management skills with a proactive, can-do approach
* The ability to produce fast, clean and error-free content, even under pressure
* Good editorial judgement and an eye for spotting stories and opportunities
* A sound understanding of media law and editorial standards
* Experience of working with CMS platforms such as WordPress
* A good understanding of database management
* Strong research and data analysis skills

Experience in breaking news or working with expert commentary services would be advantageous.

Why join us?

This is a unique opportunity to take on a newly created role with real scope to shape a growing product and make a visible impact.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and ambitious team, working at the heart of the UK’s news agency, with the chance to develop
your editorial, commercial and product thinking skills.

We offer:

* Competitive salary and benefits package
* Flexible and hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office)
* A culture built on Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation and Ambition
* 25 days’ holiday (pro-rata)
* Enhanced family leave
* Life assurance
