Summary
Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Bury based client who are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing of LV Switchgear and power distribution systems, ensuring all assemblies meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.
Responsibilities
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to assemble and install structural components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate construction.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as required for automation tasks.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within specified timeframes.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues or defects in structures or systems.
Requirements
• Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT).
• Electrical experience or background is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with assembly procedures in industrial or construction settings.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction, electrical work, or related fields are advantageous.
