About the role
A welcoming and inclusive church school in Chesterfield is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and reflective Year 4 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who is committed to delivering high quality education within a school that places equal emphasis on academic excellence and the development of the whole child, underpinned by a strong Christian ethos.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a Year 4 class and will demonstrate a clear commitment to raising standards through high quality teaching, effective assessment, and a deep understanding of how children learn. You will plan and deliver a well sequenced, ambitious curriculum that enables all pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, to make strong progress from their starting points.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
