Summary
Our client, a reputable family-run independent automotive service centre in North Cardiff, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their friendly, professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a role that values technical expertise, quality workmanship, and team collaboration. Our client is open to individuals with varying levels of experience, provided they demonstrate a solid practical background in vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Director
- Ensure work is completed to high standards, adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Keep workshop environment clean and organised
- Offer excellent customer service by providing clear communication regarding repairs and vehicle condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferred but not essential)
- Extensive practical experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Own set of tools suitable for professional vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism
- Motivated, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
