Summary
Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in Southampton to recruit a passionate and creative Music Teacher on a full‑time, permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

- Teach Music across the secondary phase
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons
- Inspire pupils through performance, theory, and creative musical practice
- Maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development within Music and the wider Creative Arts team
- Support students' progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Take part in enrichment opportunities and wider school life
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- A passionate and creative Music specialist
- Strong subject knowledge and secondary teaching experience
- Evidence of recent professional development
- A teacher with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Someone eager to join a supportive and growing school community

- QTS required
- Secondary Music teaching experience preferred
- Safeguarding training required (can be provided)

- Enhanced DBS required
- Ability to provide two professional references
