We are recruiting a reliable, caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming special needs school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in a supportive school community. This is a Primary SEND school.
About the Role
You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring pupils have a safe, enjoyable and structured lunchtime. The role includes:
- Making lunchtimes safe, happy and structured
- Supporting pupils in the dining hall and playground
- Encouraging play, social skills and positive behaviour
- Assisting children with additional needs
- Being a friendly, reliable part of the school community
What We're Looking For
- A warm, patient and approachable manner
- Confidence working with children, ideally including those with special educational needs
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability and a genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing
