Long Term Futures is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting early development, communication and learning through play. The school is looking for someone nurturing, energetic and confident supporting pupils at the very start of their education.

About the Role
- Working closely with the Reception class teacher and EYFS lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils during carpet sessions, group work and free-flow learning
- Encouraging language development through play, interaction and modelling
- Assisting with phonics, early reading and early maths activities
- Supporting personal, social and emotional development
- Helping to create a safe, structured and engaging classroom environment
- Preparing resources and supporting daily classroom routines
- Providing additional support to pupils who may need help with communication or engagement
- This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in EYFS or KS1, or a strong desire to build experience in early years
- Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident supporting play-based and structured learning
- Reliable, proactive and committed to a long-term role
