Summary

Join us at Octavius as an Accounts Payable Assistant.

We are a top civil engineering company delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for a self-starting, methodical, and organised person looking to advance their accounting career by joining a dynamic management reporting team of four covering all aspects of business reporting, forecasting, analysis and partnering.

This is a hybrid role which can be based in either Reigate or Winchester. The contract is for 6 months with potential to be extended or permanent.



You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)You'll process invoices accurately, compliantly, and promptly. You'll also handle queries, reconcile statements, and communicate with suppliers and colleagues.

You'll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)
-Experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, preferably in the construction, infrastructure or related sectors.

-A good working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and ideally hold an AAT qualification or equivalent.

-Good IT skills, and the ability to use Excel proficiently.

-An Understanding of ERP systems, preferably COINS or similar.
