Summary
The Best Connection Portsmouth are advertising on behalf of our client based running out of sites in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton for HGV Class 1 and 2 Tipper Drivers.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Operate HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
- Collecting and delivering aggregrate materials to customer sites
- Ensure correct placement of aggregrate in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes)
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
- Secure loads correctly and are transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable
This work will be ongoing for the right candidate.
Hours and Days of work:
- Monday to Friday only
- 06:45 starts finishing around 5/6pm
Pay Rates:
£16.50ph Mon-Friday
£24.38 weekends and bank holidays only
You must have:
HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
Digi Taco Card
CPC Card
Previous experience in a tipper vehicle preferred but not essential as training would be provided.
